Default Mini Map: Locating Friends

As you all know, all players on the minimap are light blue, and dark blue, and NPC's are green, enemies are red... in larger towns it can be hard to find friends for missions, farming, capping etc.
So why not make the dots on the minimap that are your friends a different color so they are more easy to identify??
Anything like yellow, purple, even maybe pink ?????? just something to see friends on your minimap easier

PS: i know you can type in their name if you wanna find them in the town, but that is annoying, especially if they have a whacky kind of name that is hard to spell

I agree with the idea, but not in the same way you're thinking. It'd be better if you could see the location of your friend next to their name in your Friend's List.

allies show up as gold in the main screen that would be nice to see in radar too... Especially in AB or RA. you don't know how many times I have run into an ally and was like DAM!!! lol then pop in and talk in TS for a while next few rounds...

I have to admit its hard to keep track of 10 guilds and all their members in friends list... Mostly its just the officers that I keep track of. just cause of friends list and ignore list limitations.

But there is nothing better then running into a Ally in the game anyplace and making a new common mutual friend...

still would be nice, even if you can also do it for the "main map" where it should show the kind of Objective marker like for quests, just to show you where on the map your friends are, towns, outposts, explorable areas.

If they did that, they'd have to make it so you can only see where they are if they have you in their list as well. Otherwise we'd have people just putting others in their list just to harass them.

The idea about friends being a different color isn't a bad idea. Not necessarily a huge deal in any case, but I'm not against conveniece.
